You know the type I am talking about. It looks too good to be true, so you throw all of your money on it because you know that team can’t lose. Really sharp sports handicappers know that these bets are all too often the ones that hurt your bankroll. You can’t win if you are constantly putting yourself behind the 8-ball in these situations. What you have to know in order to be a good sports handicapper is not only your man, but how the money is flowing.

Sports handicappers understand that the money is going to flow on one side or the other. If too much of the public is betting one side and the game looks really obvious, then you better not play it. After a while, these are the kinds of things that sports handicappers find to be incredibly routine. You don’t even have to think about laying money on the huge sucker bet anymore because you know that most times the public is going to lose when they make that sort of bet.
